WHAT IS
NINJA HOCKEY?
Trevor Elias, current head of skill development at MRU, is the lead instructor and founder of Ninja Hockey. A professional skills coach for over 10 years, he believes the key to hockey success is being elusive, deceptive and difficult to predict.
What embodies that more than a NINJA!
Ninja Hockey is designed to develop pro level habits and skills that will transfer to in-game success. We provide challenging progressions that stack skills together and motivate players.

Ninja Hockey utilizes Edge Boss stickhandling /skating tools, and puts players in situations they routinely see in a game. Connect your Head, Hands & Feet
HANDS
We develop hand skills that can evade defenders, help you hold on to pucks, and get the puck back in your possession
HEAD
The brain is your most lethal weapon! We want to speed up your processing by making you aware of your surroundings, and using your eyes as weapons
FEET
We focus on edge work, balance and transitions. Changing direction is the number one tool used to manipulate opponents with your feet

U11 5:00 - 6:00 pm
The Ninja Hockey camp is dedicated to improving your head, hands and feet, with a heavy emphasis on deception.
Trevor Elias is the lead instructor for all ice times
Aug 5 to Aug 8

Goalies are welcome and will only pay a small fee to enjoy extra shots, and small area games!
U13 Ninja Boot Camp

Trevor Elias is the lead instructor for all ice times.
6 total ice times - 2 each evening
​
Ice 1 focuses on transferable skills such as deceptive skating, puck protection, puck plays, wall pickups and situational shooting
​
Ice 2 will focus on checking, battle drills, angling and small area games
